Viet Nam Heritage Development (129 images)

2006 was Viet Nam's "Year of Tourism" during which the authorities encouraged the development of Vietnamese heritage sites to encourage internal tourism. My tour from Saigon to Hanoi, organized by a Vietnamese tour company, included UNESCO - designated World Heritage Sites as well as a trip to the northwestern Hmong tribal region around SaPa.
