My fine art work includes images of the natural world -- landscapes, riverscapes, seascapes, and abstractions derived from rocks, trees, water. There are images of living things which I imagine have personality: flowers, trees, animals, birds, and insects. Sunlight is my paint brush, and Photoshop my paint.
18 imagesI like to seek details from the natural and built worlds which can be turned into a two-dimensional abstract design. When an image hovers between realism and abstraction the resulting ambiguity pleases me greatly. These images make splendid wall prints. Some caption themselves to become greeting cards..

44 imagesThese landscapes show places where I felt both exhilarated and contented. They exude a rural beauty even with their hints of human presence. A fine print is suitable for home decor, especially if it engages a pleasant memory and mood for you. There are mountains and meadows, deserts and rivers, skies cloudy or clear. Order a custom version, hand printed on rag paper using archival pigment inks, in 11x14, 13x19, or 17x22 sizes. Some images have a hand-detailed edge and are printed with a border to show this.
15 imagesThe moving shapes, waves, breakers, foam, and ripples of the sea fascinate me into capturing them in a moment of power or grace. Their relationship to the shore, the beach, the littoral, also compels. I use a watercolor wash technique in post processing to bring out the watery quality. Each one makes a splendid wall print which I make to order.
